The call for Symposium is now available. The APSN-FAONS-HKSN Neuroscience conference 2026, combining the 19th biennial meeting of APSN and the 6th FAONS Symposium will be held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of HKSN at the Cheung Kung Hai Conference Centre, Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, from August 23 to 26, 2026. 

Each symposium will receive USD 800 support in total. The participating speakers and chairs of selected symposia will also have their registration fees waived. The call for APSN Young Investigator Colloquiums (YIC) 2026 is now open. Each selected speakers will receive a travel grant of USD 750 and will have their registration fees waived. Please note that awardees are required to hold APSN membership by the time of the meeting, if not already members. Symposium

The Scientific Program Committee will select the symposia from submitted proposals. Although it is not a requirement, it is encouraged to include speakers from different countries/regions and consider gender balance.
The submitted proposal should include the following:
a. The topic of the symposium
b. Abstract (max 300 words)
c. The reason(s) why the topic of the symposium is important
d. The names of the Chairperson (only one) and 3-4 speakers, confirming their willingness to participate and their lecture titles    
e. Short CVs of the 3-4 speakers with a selection of up to 5 publications for each speaker

 

Young Investigator Colloquiums (YIC)

These colloquia would feature young investigators mainly from the Asian-Pacific regions and will be selected by the Scientific Program Committee from submitted proposals. Preference will be given to independent young investigators and postdocs. The candidates should be either below 40 years of age or less than 10 years after Ph.D.
To apply, the candidates should submit the following information in the application form:
a. The title of their contribution
b. Abstract (300 words)
c. Significance of the topic
d. A one-page CV
e. List of representative publications
